Clay & Justine | Archibald Park + Beach Wedding

Having such good friends like the Martin family, it was a privilege and honor to photograph another daughter getting married.  I had been talking with Justine since her engagement to Clay and one could feel the excitement in the air.  I mean an opportunity to be able to photograph a beach wedding, who wouldn't pack their Jimmy Buffet gear and make the necessary plans. :)  The weather couldn't have been better.  God painted his symphony with the majestic sunset, and it was a great time by everyone.   We wish Mr. & Mrs. Cox much joy and blessings in their days ahead.

Here are some of the highlights from their day.

Brian & Shannon | Ragsdale Inn + Autumn

It was an honor to photograph Brian & Shannon's special day.   Brian & Shannon were awesome to get to know during this time.  Such charming and special people that had some awesome character with their wedding from princess bride invitations, their cake, etc. made this wedding a unique and fun time had by all.  Their choice for a fall wedding was brought out by the nice fall weather and the fall decorations.   May they have many happy days ahead of them.

Here are some of the highlights from their day.

Justus & Courtney | Vision Baptist + Summer Wedding

I had the honor and privilege of photographing Justus & Courtney's wedding this past Saturday, August 5th 2017.  We have known Courtney's family for the last 3 years.  Two of the kindest people, met, fell in love, and decided to spend forever together.  While earlier in the week rain was in the forecast, it could not have been a more lovely day.  A slight breeze with warm sunshine and a great bridal party.   I am psyched that Sonia & I were given the opportunity of documenting their beautiful day.   We wish them a lifetime of happiness and bless them as they go into the mission field.

Here are some of the highlights from their amazing day.

An education is not how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It is being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you do not know

Happy Independence Day!!!!

This year we celebrated our Nation's 240th Birthday!  Wow!!  As we gathered to remember and celebrate, I had the opportunity to mentor someone on fireworks and take some photos myself.  Some of these photos are from the evening and I must say "Grasshopper" did pretty good and I believe the some of the photos captured reflect this....

Pony + Girl = Happy Birthday

Well the pony party was another success and Aspen was surprised as only a 4 year old girl can be with her squeals and excitement!  Mom and Dad didn't tell her she was going to have a pony party and the look on her face.......Priceless

And so the afternoon was a Happy Birthday for a happy princess!!!

Today's challenge was on the theme history.  Where we are is an old farm house and on the property was this piece that shows a History of the name "Rose" along with handprints and horse shoe prints...

Hard work

As part of this daily challenge, the theme was hard work.  What better way to display that hard work then on a working farm.  I was able to capture different items from the day and put them in a collage.

The next time you see a farmer, thank them for the fruits of their labor.  Without it, where would your next meal come from? :)
